The name Earthside is rooted in fiercely respecting you and your dreams during your time on this earth and intentionally cultivating safe spaces for babies to arrive.
This work is grounded in providing heart-centered, trauma-informed, gentle care, with on-call services, personalized support, and research-based practices. It would be an honor to join your journey and support you during these transformational periods.

Jo offers Birth Doula services for all births, whether you are planning to bring your baby earthside at home, hospital, or a birth center—medicated, un-medicated, or cesarean birth—Earthside is prepared and excited to support you in your experience.
Jo offers overnight Postpartum Doula care. This service is tailored to the type of support you need with your newborn at home. From labor and delivery to settling in at home, Earthside is with you.
Earthside offers placenta encapsulation as a stand-alone service, or you can bundle this offering with another service. You will discuss this service in-depth with your encapsulation specialist.
Protect your most precious cargo by ensuring your child’s car seat is used correctly—reducing the risk of fatal injury by up to 71% for infants. In this hands-on learning opportunity for new and expecting parents and caregivers, you will gain confidence and knowledge on how to choose, install, and secure a car seat properly.
